The Great Race of Mercy
Togo the often-forgotten (Siberian-Husky) true hero of the Great Race of Mercy that delivered 300,000 units of life saving serum to the Diphtheria ridden town of Noem, AK in 1925.
Togo was 12 years old and was well past his prime as Leonard Seppala's best lead sled dog when he was put to his last and biggest test in the winter of 1925. Diphtheria had caused an epidemic in the town of Noem, AK especially affecting the children and getting the lifesaving serum from Anchorage was looking impossible with the bitter winter months ahead.
Togo led his team 170 miles in his leg of the journey (the largest distance covered by any team), crossing some of the most treacherous terrain along the way, such as Norton Sound. the Average temperature during the journey was -30 with gale force winds dipping the temps to -65. the entirety of the journey was a 674-mile round trip including 20 sled dog teams.
Togo was largely forgotten for his role as he was not the lead dog to cross the finish line and deliver the lifesaving serum to Noem, Balto was seen as the hero because of this act.

from 112 reviewsI love this scent. It is in fact my favorite scent from Notable. Notable's butters are top tier in their ingredients and have great consistency. Looking forward to what they have coming this year
Evan nailed it with this one, an excellent scent to go along with a great feel in beard carrier blend. A+
Absolutely amazing soap.
Lather is great and definitely smells good!
This oil is, in my opinion a class of its own. You get that nice soft feel and it lasts all day! No greasy feel but you can tell your hair is protected from the elements and the occasional dirty job. The scent is Awesome! If you like Oud and woodsy scents this one’s for you. Smooth is how I would describe it: earthy, woodsy with very light Smokey touch to it that honestly brings everything together. It’s a daily go to in my opinion and the guy who put this together nailed it!
This oil is, in my opinion a class of its own. You get that nice soft feel and it lasts all day! No greasy feel but you can tell your hair is protected from the elements and the occasional dirty job. This scent is a nice, light cologne scent with a subtle but manly floral note to it. A must try and I’ve been using this scent at least once a day because it’s good!
Smooth and luxurious feel in beard. Easily emulsified in your hands. Straight up one of the best in the game

This is a great apple scent. I love the crisp freshness of this. It is so invigorating and brings a smile to my face!
This is another really nice subtly cologne scent that is just right! This is that softness, yet complexity that I really enjoy. This feels great in my husband's beard or on my skin. Very, very nice!
This has a great cologne scent! Although many touch on the masculinity of this scent, I can also pick out some more floral and softer notes when I wear it. Fantastic feel on my skin and in my husband's beard.
I love cherry, and this really is a great scent. Not super sweet, yet has the slightly sweet cologne vibe! As a woman, this is in my top cherry scents! My husband loves the way it feels in beard as well as really enjoying the scent!
Old Ironsides is a great fresh (aquatic) yet fruity cologne scent. I use the oils and butters on my skin alone, while my husband uses them in beard. He loves the feel and the smell!
The scent in this is perfect for fall! Very well blended so you can pick out some of the different notes. Very nice!
