The Great Race of Mercy
Togo the often-forgotten (Siberian-Husky) true hero of the Great Race of Mercy that delivered 300,000 units of life saving serum to the Diphtheria ridden town of Noem, AK in 1925.
Togo was 12 years old and was well past his prime as Leonard Seppala's best lead sled dog when he was put to his last and biggest test in the winter of 1925. Diphtheria had caused an epidemic in the town of Noem, AK especially affecting the children and getting the lifesaving serum from Anchorage was looking impossible with the bitter winter months ahead.
Togo led his team 170 miles in his leg of the journey (the largest distance covered by any team), crossing some of the most treacherous terrain along the way, such as Norton Sound. the Average temperature during the journey was -30 with gale force winds dipping the temps to -65. the entirety of the journey was a 674-mile round trip including 20 sled dog teams.
Togo was largely forgotten for his role as he was not the lead dog to cross the finish line and deliver the lifesaving serum to Noem, Balto was seen as the hero because of this act.

This is a fantastic butter, very nourishing and hydrates amazing. The butter is very creamy and melts down instantly. I use it at night, when I wake up my beard is so soft. It smelled like a sophisticated upper class beard oil scent with character. In fact with all the beard oil I've gotten the past 5 years this one easily makes it to the top 20 of all time that I've tried. Notable is a company I've been craving to order from again to learn the scope of their excellent scents, because I was VERY impressed with Earhart.
I really liked it. Suitable for this time of the year for sure! I only wished the cologne would pop up more but a great scent nonetheless.
Initially I was on the fence about ordering it. I knew the quality of the carrier oils would be great as always, but wasn’t sure about the scent profile. I love the smell of mangos, but wasn’t sure I wanted that in my beard and thought it would overpower the other scents. I’m glad I took the chance. This smells amazing. Good strong scent but not too strong. Yes, I can smell the mango, but it’s not overpowering. It is a bit strong at first but then after a few minutes the scent opens up and I can get some pineapple, musk, papaya and and cologne. Very much a fruity type cologne scent and very well done!
Alright finally done with yardwork and showered and beard is clean and smelling fantastic! I’ll be honest I’m not a huge fan of fruity scents. To my surprise this is an Amazing killer combo not to sweet and smells more like a cologne. Definitely a must have in the line up PS the wife loves it as well!
If you even remotely like leather scent, get your credit card out and do the deed! Knickerbocker is leather in your teeth right out of the bottle, but that cedar wood takes it up a couple of clicks - and the warmth of the sweet tobacco just brings it all together nicely. The scent is on the stronger side of medium for sure and this one will stay with you for the day! Feel in beard is just fabulous, as you would expect from Notable's beard oil. This one would be a MUST HAVE if you're looking to try the company, want something new, or just freaking like leather!
Notable butter is so smooth, melts down quickly and easily and does a great job helping keep the beard soft to the touch and feeling nourished. This pairs wonderfully with the light, fresh masculine scent of Notable's Roosevelt oil. This scent would be great either right after the morning shower or worn in beard overnight,
Warm, light, clean, crisp cologne - no question about its masculinity, yet without being overpowering or overbearing. I found this scent to be more on the subtle side and less "in your face" than many cologne type oils. The blend just feels so good in beard that you look forward to reaching for Notable again!
Scent is great better then expected and the feel in beard is great and offers a nice styling butter finish

This profile, like all Notable profiles, is unique and compelling. This one is subtle but it works well. I get a refresher from it when a breeze blows outside and that great scent wafts across my face. Love the scent, love the Rushmore idea and of course I love how the product makes my beard and face feel soft and nourished. Another great job!
The Rushmore collection....I love the idea. For The Washington, I have to admit that I am normally not a cherry smell guy when it comes to beard oil scents. However, Notable usually knocks their profiles out of the park and The Washington is no different. This profile is pure money. I love it. Couple that with the fantastic carrier blend this company uses and we have another winner! Buy some now!
