Scent profile - Spicy Redwood, Amber, Grapefruit
Before the Tuskegee Airmen there were not any African Americans allowed to fly in the U.S. Air-Force. These brave men flew over 15,000 combat missions between 1943-1945!
The Tuskegee Airmen received the nickname "Red Tails", due to the distinct way their P-51 Mustangs tails were colored (bright red.) Throughout the course of the Second World War there were over 1.2 million people of color who served, and all this despite fighting for a free country who didn't recognize the same civil liberties at home to these brave men and women.Â
In all the Red Tails received 8 Purple Hearts, 14 Bronze Stars, 8-unit citations and 96 Flying Crosses! The Tuskegee Airmen were nothing short of American Heros.
Ingredients: Argan Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Jojoba oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Sunflower Oil, Shea Nut Oil, Fragrance and Essential oils.

I could have sworn I reviewed Red Tails when I bought it the first time, but here it is, better late than never. I had run out, so seeing this show up in my mailbox (along with the new limited Kite & Key... you need to get it before it is gone) gave me the warm fuzzies. I absolutely love this profile: Redwood, Amber, and Grapefruit. Those scents blend together to create an incredible, unmatched masculine scent. As always, Notable's carrier blend is great for the old chin curtain. If you haven't tried Evan's company, you need to. And if you are curious, check out my review for Kite & Key over on that page.
If you like great cologne vibe type scents you will love this one. It reminds me of Polo Red, which I have always enjoyed. Evan also did a great job updating the labels too.
Notable's carrier blend always leaves such a great feel in beard! The scent strength of Red Tails I would rate as medium to perhaps medium light. The grapefruit fronts with a bright, slightly crisp note, yielding to a warm, alluring amber creatively blended into a fresh masculine backdrop of spicy redwood. To me, the star of this show is the nice long dry down and fade culminating in very light, vanillic, outdoorsy, wood notes! I would enjoy wearing Red Tails any time, for any occasion. Nicely played @notablebeardco
I've gone through several brands of beard oil and thus far this is by far my favorite. The Argan Oil makes all the difference in keeping your skin from itching while not being oily like you just downed an XL of hot fries.
I absolutely love this scent. Good Job Evan.
