Devils Tower, WY. An Incredible Natural Monolith that protrudes from the earth as the result of ancient volcanic activity, the stories told by the Kiowa and Lakota tribes were that 2 young girls were playing when a huge bear saw them and attacked. The girls climbed to the top of Devils Tower to escape the great bear. While trying to get the girls the bear made huge deep cuts on the face of Devils tower giving its unique appearance.
